Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Project: We’re building a reusable, scalable test automation framework for a SaaS web application used in corporate management. This is the client’s first application, but multiple future applications are already planned. The primary goal is to establish a robust, maintainable testing framework that can be reused and extended across projects for regression and continuous testing.

The project will begin with the first web app and expand to cover additional apps using the same JavaScript/React/Tailwind/Playwright tech stack and architecture.

Working hours: Collaborate mainly during US EST time in the beginning with daily check-ins. Once things are on track, you can work flexibly and manage your own schedule.

I. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a reusable Playwright-based testing framework to support current and future web applications
  • Implement and maintain automated test scripts for unit, user experience (UI/UX), and regression testing
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues
  • Suggest and implement AI-driven automation or optimization solutions to enhance testing efficiency
  • Define and uphold QA best practices, coding standards, and testing guidelines
  • Participate in daily syncs (US EST time zone) and provide clear progress updates

II. Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in software testing with a strong background in test automation
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written
  • Proven expertise in Playwright for web testing (unit, UI/UX, and regression)
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with React-based applications
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS front-end setups
  • Understanding of AI-based testing automation tools or techniques is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely with teams across time zones

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, Jenkins..
  • Knowledge of API testing frameworks
  • Exposure to AI/ML-assisted QA tools or automated defect prediction
  • Experience designing reusable test frameworks for SaaS or multi-application environments
