I. Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain reusable API endpoints to support multiple applications
- Implement and optimise front-end user interfaces using the latest web technologies
- Prototyping of website and web/mobile apps
II. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or a related field. Preferably have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development – Experienced in either Java (Spring framework) or JavaScript (Nextjs, Nodejs) is essential; knowledge of Python (Pandas) is advantageous
- Must have good command of English. Basic Chinese proficiency is a plus and highly preferred, but not required
- Experienced in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL), including SQL tuning and Experienced with NoSQL database systems (Mongo DB)
- Experienced on Web and Mobile UI design
- Passionate about UX design, and keep to innovate
- Experienced in Linux server management, including Nginx and cron job management
- Experienced with Docker is required, with Kubernetes (K8s)
- Experienced with DevOps frameworks and Git is essential; familiarity with GitLab CI is needed
- Preferably knowledgeable in API management tools, with Apifox being a bonus
- Experienced with data visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI)
- Experienced in Business Intelligence, data mining, or data analytics is needed
- Experienced in IoT and sensor data application development is needed
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. – Capable of meeting tight deadlines
- A responsible individual with effective communication skills for teamwork
- Demonstrates eagerness to learn and stay updated on new technologies
